Master of Arts in Sociology
The objective of MA in Sociology is to impart up-to-date knowledge of the theories and methods of sociology to the students along with training in field-work and secondary data analysis. It provides skilled human resources for the development needs of society. The overall objective of this academic program is to develop professional skills, in theory, practice, and research in sociology. Graduates find work in governmental & non-governmental fields that require similar skills, such as social services, planning, monitoring, awareness programs, and many more social programs associated with the communities.
Eligibility Criteria
All candidate must meet following criteria to be eligible for admission:
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject.
- Meet the criteria set by the subject committee.
- Pass an entrance exam for specialized subjects in the semester system.
- A recent photograph and educational certificates from SLC/SEE to the Bachelor's level.
